Upload an invoice manually

Add an invoice yourself by uploading the file. Invoflux reads and files it just like an emailed one. Useful for paper invoices you scanned or files saved outside your inbox.

When an invoice did not arrive by email, you can upload the file directly. It goes through the same reading and filing as any other invoice.

Steps

  1. Go to Invoices and open Upload.
  2. Choose Select File and pick your invoice. Supported types are PDF, images (JPG, PNG, HEIC), Word documents (DOCX), and ZIP files containing several invoices.
  3. Choose Upload & Process. Invoflux reads the details and files each invoice, and they appear in your list when done.

Result

The uploaded invoice is processed, with its fields extracted and stored, exactly like an emailed invoice.

Troubleshooting

  • The file would not upload. Check it is a supported type (PDF, image, DOCX, or ZIP) and within the size limit. Re-save very large scans at a smaller size.
  • Details came out wrong. Re-upload a clearer copy, or see Fix an incorrectly extracted or skipped invoice.
  • I have many invoices to add. Forwarding them to your magic email can be faster than uploading one by one. See Forward invoices to your magic email.
